Why not just build it yourself and learn? There is plenty of knowledgeable people on here and various other sites to give you all the information you need.

cause i want it done right and i dont have my tools yet so 730 for a complete rebuild is good for me including type r pistons

What all does that include?

Mr.Burner

730$ is a way smokin deal for new type r pistons and rings, new bearings rods and mains, arp rod bolts and rods resized and arp head studs with a honda headgasket. No to mention a final bore and hone and balancing and micro polishing the crank.

I couldn't touch it for that price.

And if its not being built this way with new parts and machine work, I'd would turn else where if you plan on making that motor last.

Not that hard. Omni man did 200whp on a stock block b16 with not very aggressive cams

Hp aint shit, its the torque your loosing. Torque is everything when trying to make n/a power. Otherwise it just runs and gets you from a to b.

Mr burner is right too. But i prefer hondata a nice b20 built is fast. I made 1800 on my lsv with a simple build. Im about to sell my block here soon

iam very well aware of the torque situation with Honda's they lack it, so high compression and a built head is the way to go to make tq from what i researched i had a b16a2 in a cx hatch when i was 16, back then the dc headers where the shit and no one knew about engine management hon-data didnt exist chips did but all these new programmable chips didnt and a b16 swap was 3200 ive been doing this for 10 years, i had a vr6 after the honda and got into dubs and now iam back and lost all my honda connects and most of those shops like srd suck i would never ever take my car there ive heard some bad shit about srd and experienced it in other peoples cars mostly my car club night and day racing which isn't around anymore so i need a good shop that can help me versus blows swami is an asshole. need i say more

Mr.Burner

You really need the 2 litre to make up for the tq.

Do a b20v, Scott at collective built me one, and on my break in tune (which had less timing in it than a stock 2000 ITR map) I was door to door with a 200whp b series ek. It was stupid fast for an N/A setup!
