Find the source of your leaks then come back to the compression dealio.

doo, diy
its easy and saves you 100 bux, and if you buy your own compression tester you can charge to do it for other people or do it next time on another car you buy
heres a link if your interested in a diy thing

Or you could rent a compression tester at autozone and do a compression test first. Then you can do a leak down test after you find out what the compression test was like.

Right do a compression check first then go from there. Also when was the last time you adjusted your valves?

He said two cyl have low compression.

Is this a guess, or have you done a compression test already?

If so. Do it again but pour a cap of oil in each low cyl and try a compression test again.

It should change the reading. If not then I would assume you have a valve leak. If compression goes up then you have a bad piston or something in the bottom end.

This an n/a motor?
