Does any1 know how to get rid of water spots on a carbon fiber hood. I was washing the car yesterday and had to leave before I could finish. Now there is water spots all over the hood that wont come off. Just got the hood last week its new so idk why its acting like this I mean what happens when it rains? are carbon fiber hoods not rain proof? :dumbass:

Yeah some rub on wax/cleaner should work fine.

Yeah, some sort of polish should knock those water spots right out. In the AZ heat, you cant leave water standing on your car unless the pH has been neutralized so that it prevents water spots on the clear and paint.

wash the car first, then dry it then polish or wax the whole car or just the hood.. its up to u,but make sure you do it in the shade!! it will make it way easier !!

Make sure you keep it in a garage or shade as much as possible, the Az sun will really damage the hood

yep or wax it about twice as much as you wax the rest of the car. Google carbon fiber care products.

There is special waxes and detailers for carbon fiber out there is i remember correctly.
