Check for leaks along your radiator hoses and your radiator. When was your thermostat last replaced? How many miles on your engine?

are your fans working also. cause sitting at a light in az and your fans dont kick on could cause problems.

The thermastat is inbetween the intake and out cooling hoses and has a 2 prong plug connected to it? If that's it I should be able to do it

If its not the thermostat and the fans and coolant... Shit I'm out of ideas. Idk what else It could be. Idk if there's anything else that cools down your motor.

Do the usual checks

1. Check fluid levels
2. Check resovoir after a quick drive to see if it's overfilling from radiator
3. Check thermostat you can either pull it out and replace it or hold your hand on the bottom radiator return hose to see if it's getting hot after engine hits operating temperature.
4. I believe there is a fuse for the fan you can check this
5. Compression/leakdown test.

If i'm wrong please someone correct me, but this is pretty much what I did to troubleshoot my overheating problems when I had the car.
