I am looking to get a valve spring compressor so I was wondering which one you guys have?

I know my buddy back in Colorado had one of these: http://lextreme.com/valve/vs_08.jpg

And I found this (which looks very convenient for DOHC people): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq4YuHsCCuc&feature=player_embedded

What has worked the best for you guys? And how much did it cost? I am looking to stay below 100 dollars.

The first one is good for taking the springs out, but sucks for reinstalling high pressure springs.. The second one is good for reinstalling, just takes time..

I'd buy both, and I did.

Good stuff, I think I might save up and get both.

What's the difference between these two: http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-36200-Keeper-Remover-Installer/dp/B000P0ZJIS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311221888&sr=8-1

and

Is it just that the second one has two?

And how about this style of compressor: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Snap-On-Blue-Point-Valve-Spring-Compressor-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2a112ffb9aQQitemZ18067 6983706QQptZMotorsQ5fAutomotiveQ5fTools
Anyone use this with any success?

I have one of these and love it. I bought it through Matco.

^ Definitely was looking at one of those via Matco but it is just out of my intended budget. But I've never had the chance to use one of them though.

I would deffinately go for the one on the link but if u are in working on several then I would opt for the that Paul stated.
