I have had both.

S2000 is a cosmetically more appealing car to the masses and if you're ok w/ only 2 seats and N/A power then by all means get one. Chick do dig em, but kinda shitty wheel fitment Not very reliable boosted.

S14 = easy SR20det swap fairly reliable, not a chick magnet, great wheel fitment options and a semi-back seat.

Stock to stock comparison IMO is the S2000 is the nicer car, modified I genuinely think the S14 is more fun even an S13.

Wrong section BTW

I can tell you that the S2000 will cost probably double to get to the potential of the S chassis performance and mods wise. I know this from experience. The gains once the S chassis is swapped are ten fold that of the S2000. If its a track car you want I honestly think the S chassis is your better bet, don't get caught out of the wrong gear in the S2000 or its game over at the track.

Bradley, I owned an S2000 for years and have S Chassis now.

I have done everything from boost, NOS, to Supercharge and S2000 and bottom line unless its built to the hilt its unreliable. I love the AP1/AP2 platforms but IMO <---- the S Chassis is much more reliable especially once swapped and much more responsive to mods (SR20DET) than pretty much any Honda platform again IMO. But I digress what do I know we just work on both daily and have owned them both as well... complete and utter BS I'm spilling forth right?

Eh, take it with a grain of salt. They pour endless amounts of resources into their s2k track car. Perspective my friend....
