I have a 99 Crown Victoria. It needs some frame repair/fab work. Last owner majorly f'ed up this car, but it is what it is and now I need to fix it. I don't have an actual picture till later today but the attached is a general idea of what I need done. So on with it....
Passenger side trailing arm mounts to a point on the rear end, then travels forward and bolts to a bracket on the outside of the frame rail.(like the picture) My problem is that the mount on the frame is completely gone and the arm is just bolted through the frame where the bracket should be. This obviously is no good as the arm is supposed to pivot during spring compression.(think if that bracket was gone in the pic)
I originally contacted Kyle Green who does pre-runner fab and things like that. He quoted me $150 when he looked at the car. This was a while ago and I have tried getting into contact with him again recently and have not been able to.
So the question is.....Where do I go?? This needs to be fixed asap and I am really looking for a good recommendation for something like this rather than just "trust" someone to do it right. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
