have the crank pulley tool on a half inch breaker bar holding the pulley wedged against the frame rail. Take a 3/4 inch drive socket wrench with a reducer to half inch and a 17mm/19mm socket (depending on if its D series or B series) put a cheater bar on the end of that, and have your way with it.

In the situation of tool-lacking, this is what I did... Drive to a lil tire shop, they'll loosen it in .5 seconds. They can re-tighten it to get you home safely and you'll be fine. After water pump installed, return to tire shop and have them torque it back tight.

I used to tip them $5-10 and they were happy to help. They make 5-10 for literally seconds of work. They usually have an adapter to get in there. I did the same on stubborn axle nuts.

Well i guess you could rent the pulley tool from checkers/orielly, wedge it on a half inch breaker bar against the frame rail, hit the starter a few times to knock it loose.

Just find a shop with a 3/4" impact. I've never had one my gun couldn't take off

invest in a 3/4 inch socket wrench. and a reducer to half inch. this will help prevent any other stuck bolt issues. Tools are never a bad investment, they have a practical use :)

dont use an extension on the impact, loses lots of torque that way

The extwnsions were about an inch long.. And how much psi should I run in the compressor?
