I don't have a road bike, I have a mountain bike but I ride up an down the canal from Gilbert and warner to mesa Dr and germann.

what part of town are you looking to ride in? or are you just trying to find whatevers clever? i ride in the downtown/central phoenix area. canal routs are nice for long rides, also how far are you trying to ride?

On my weekends in the morning i ride from avindale to downtown phx then up to my parents house in glendale. A few days later i do the ride back. Ive done the canal once but for only a few miles.

Im trying to do group rides.

i just moved back from cali and havent really touched my road bike. i wanna start back up again though

I'll check out mapmyride.
I've managed to do 120 miles a week. I go to the canal and head east. I see alot of cyclist so its pretty cool.
