The problem is that it's pretty solid and actually left a fair amount of scarring so you can feel it as well. If I cover it you might be able to see the design underneath it. I always could have added to it, thats not a problem, the thing is that if I get more tattoos I don't really WANT it to be more tribals..

Just like shaun said, in most businesses you usually wear a long sleeve dress shirt/suit so getting sleeves shouldnt hinder your work.

If i was you Dallis i would fill it in completely and make the edges more jagged and extend out to be less butterfly like, then get something on the sides if you want to. I think altering it would be your best bet.

tattoos are never finished, to me their kinda like living art, i have two tats both are "unfinished" in the traditional sense, but i like the idea that there is always a chance for someone else to work on it.

it just seems weird that you would get a peice, start to finish all at once. It may not look "done", but its living, you can change it up, maybe you have the outline of a koi (btw its spelled KOI not COI) and you want color...then two months later you might want grey scale, idk...just my weird thought on tats

Long sleeves suck during the summers in Arizona, but if you're really into it that is definitely an option like 1.6 said.
Otherwise, it might be worth it to look into the placement of the words on your calves. I'm not into arm tattoos for personal reasons, but my legs, an parts of my thighs are covered. If you only do one of them, you could always get it on the inside of your lip. Be ready for some pain if the needle goes too deep though.

My friend has the angel backpiece on that website. I would definitely suggest them or Love And Hate tattoo in Phoenix.

i've loved all thing from the far east since i was old enough to stand (military brat). i did the samurai armour to signify "me"= the armor, each coin on my arm signifies what i protect in Kanji. top= the wife, 3 coins=my daughters, and lastly my son (in no particular order, just seemed better to do it that way). as far as i and the artist thats doing it, no one has ever done it on the shoulder. most armour done on the body is usually chest plates.
