I've been told this is a good way to spend 1k on your car if your going NA.

Would this be correct? If so where would i my car tune for this? How much would that cost?

Stock exhaust manifold is the biggest power set back on all K series. Even the type-r K20a. So theres the best place to start. Flash pro should prolly be #2 on your list after exhaust, intake manifold isn't that much of a deal unless your dyno tuning for every possible HP. A nice cold air set up should be installed with a header or header back set up

if you got an 8thgen civic you do not need KPRO. No idea why people keep saying that. IM is not needed you will spend money and only gain 2-5hp. Flashpro, header and exhaust and then go to flashprotuning for a tune.

Thank you guys for all the replies.

Ok so header, exhaust and Flashpro is a good starter.
I was thinking of going with Shunk2 3" and XLR8 3" exhaust, anyone think that would be a good choice, any problems with these exhausts? The sound clips at least sound good no "beez in a can" sound.

Not sure what header would be good to go with.

Any suggestion on a header exhaust combo?

Strup Race header connected to Fujitsobo Powergetter exhaust...

I've received more compliments on how my car sounds than anything else..

Thermal r&d exhaust (aka full race) 3" and a kidd header is best bet IMO sounds great, or xlr8 but steer clear of 76mm skunk that thing is crazy loud and obnoxious

Thanks, I'm not trying to have anything crazy loud. I think I liked the xlr8 better, it had a deeper tone it seemed, at least on the youtubes vids.

I like the xlr8 too, I would like to hear it on a boosted car and the black axle back is sick from them!

full race exhaust is the bee's knees, I'll be doing a race header and q300 sounds perfect IMO

I have full race and I love it before I was boosted it was quiet and low , sounded great and now that I am boosted it is super quiet but you can tell it means business when I step on it

The q300 is also a great choice but from the sounds of it he is looking at 3" and the q300 is not 3" :(

Only reason why I'm thinking 3' is because some peeps have been telling me that is the way to go.
Better breaking intake and exhaust is always a good first mod to have?

Plan on it. I'll most likely be ordering the the header and exhaust this weekend
