dual 15'' alpine type r's too much

would dual 15'' alpine type r's be overkill if i can fit em in my em2 coupe trunk? any ideas what a good combo would be pls post ur suggestions if uve owned a em2 and had subs in it

Dual anything is over kill in a civic.

A well set up 8 or 10 will always sound better than a backyard put together sub amp combo of any dual 10+.

type=r tens good? if i had the money id prob get t1's but there 120 more per sub then type-r's and i like type-r's over kickers so far and i love anything over the shitty mtx setup i have now my budget would be about 800

2 15s for what? That's way to much base I'm betting you just stuck in 6.5s for Ur highs and lows powered by the head unit lol. You can make two 10s sound better then two underpowered 12s or 15s think about it

one 10in type r thats properly powered in a civic is more than enough bass

I've ran up to a 2.5cf box for one 12" in an em2, was kind of a tight fit though.

What do you have for a front stage and what type of music do you listen to a majority of the time?

I'd rather have one quality sub, then 2 mediocre ones.

What I'm trying to say is...fuck two type-r's. For the same money you can have one high quality 10 in a quality box that will sound better and hit harder than two Type-R's in a Best Buy box.
