Aw yes this looks like a volvo turbo........you can fill the top and bottom part of the turbo with weld to seal it to the gasket, but it better be pretty....

that looks to be for an internal wastegate

your flange on your DP should be solid and it will plug the hole.

anyone else have an idea?

well it's a 5-bolt ford exhaust housing. But the inlet flange on the exhaust side looks more like a volvo turbo. Take some pics of the whole turbo and we should be able to pin-point exactly what it is :)

here are some more. cant it be both ford and volvo since ford owns volvo?

looks like a pretty standard turbo with a 5 bolt exhaust flange that used to be internally wastegated.

i still dont get what turbo to manifold flange that is. so i just weld up the flange some how? and for the hole the DP should just cover it?

The flange will have to be made even/level. Can be filled in and then milled to a perfect even surface.

The other hold woudl be covered by your Downpipe's Flange. Unless you want to use an internal wastegate, then you need to find and install one.

no, i had planned on going external wastegate...unless theres and advantage to internal?

hey dude i figured out the easiest solution. I just used my mig welder filled up the circle with a nice fat bead and a couple passes. then used a grinder to get all the imperfections out then im gonna have it decked by a machine shop for a perfect fit. let me know if u want help with that volvo turbo flange man.

its my old turbo.. I ran it on my revhard manifold with no problems, had a tiny exhust leak at the flange but nothing major. Didnt seem to effect performance so i didnt bother with it. As for the other hole, it was just covered up perfectly with my flange on the DP.
