Carbon front lip or no?

Well now that I've got some baller 17's on my rizzzide :roll: the OEM lip is looking a little to plain-jane once again, I'm trying to decide between going back to the password lip, or trying a carbon fiber spoon-style lip.

For a daily driver I don't think spoon lip is a good idea. Those things explode when you hit something with them.

Carbon mugen-style then? I've generally had good luck with any lip that wraps over the edge of the bumper, they tend to stay put, which is why I like the password and the older mugen copy I had on the car. only problem is they like to rub on the inside edges of the lower grill.

I have always loved the look of the spoon, but I think you should go with the password one. Its different.

i say go the password style, i have the vis CF spoon style on my DC2 and i love it, i would say the password lip looks better on ur car.

I'm getting a new password lip, I've still got the old one, but its chopped up a little from me trying to repair it. I'll just give it to you if you want it cause I was going to throw it out. I took about a inch off the bottom and cut out the crack that was in it, it needs to be patched, I have the materials, I can give you everything for $20.

carbon fiber oem lip would look nice imo, but do they make cf oem?

btw there is a car here in tucson that has a carbon fiber password lip, it's cf hood too + lip all white car. looks verrrry! clean

What ever you do, make sure it's authentic and original. The wheels you picked up don't mix well with much else.

or unless you have a massive front mount. Sucks they dont make a front lip, like they do for the the eg's.

i like the bys front bumper. looks like stock but a little boxier and different. i like the dc2 jdm front bumper they make too! very nice but around a g i think!

I guess not, they where on back order for almost a year anyway so I'm going to assume they just stopped making them alltogether, either that or they're getting sued by chargespeed.
