My cars audio specs :

Headunit : NONE
Speakers : 2 Fosgate door speakers. Not hooked to anything (see above.)

Even if I had a headunit, you wouldn't hear anything over basically open header 1.6 liter anyhows.

Currently I am looking for a new head unit I gave mine to my brother!

My setup is
2 Seas tweets
4 7in carbon fiber AA mid (1 in the door 1 in the kick pods)
4ch kicker 400.4
2 sound solutions audio 12a ported tuned to 32hrz
Audio pipe 3kd 3k rms
Lots of second skin deadener

I've broken quiet a few things! I usually don't play it crazy loud when I'm driving but yes been pulled over for it. I did knock someone's blinds off the wall!

For the solo x comment. The biggest setup I've done is 4 ssa Zcon 18s!! :) solo xs suck. They sound like garbage in my opinion.

Lol I was joking about the Kickers, what's your opinion on RE audio subs? Had one a while back and regret selling it. Don't know if they still make the same quality speakers now.

Re makes some pretty decent stuff! Fortunately for me the owner of Ssa is my best friend so they are all I run however I've done installs with re equipment for customers! Re Fi Ssa sundown ect all good products. Check out Ssaudio.com the forum is great! Lots of info.

Now I got one ten which is good enough for me.

My fav was the Orion products from the Mid 90's days. I like Kicker until they switched the solo x. Now I am into Alpine.

I have. JL audio w7 12 in a ported box and a JL 1000/1 amp. I feel like it's too much for me.

JL is good but in my opinion it is way over priced for what u are getting. I get mtx stuff and sounds just as good of not better for half the price.

I really like it, I don't think I'd trade it for any other setup. It was an impulse buy too, but I don't regret it either lol.

I had some w3s back in the day and they were good. It probably didn't have a properly made box. There is an instructor at a stereo school that said he got subs from Walmart and they sounded great. Its all about the box.
