Least he got a motor swap tho lol. But yea i think alot of people had their fair share of riceness. Cant say all bodykits out there are rice, ive seen some kits that actually didnt look that bad. Although i would prefer factory oem spec just because engineers had spent alot of hours and time into the aero dynamics of each body pieces. By far im not supporting all the ricers but if you can keep your car clean with a body kit on then more power to ya.

going back to Ohio in june to buy this mound of shit back to turn into a VERY budget minded autox car. possible GRM $2008 challenge car. i have a ton of parts to be thrown on it, and i'm paying next to nothing to get it back. it's very ragged out and it's only really good to make into a race only car. i couldnt wrap my head around the cost and parts it'd take to turn this back into a decent street car.

D15B power LOL. i traded a blown up LS motor for the whole swap. was actually pretty fun and quick.rofl! now that is freakin badass! Don't see too many SOHC Integras in the states. They came stock in places like Malaysia and the Philippines though :P

as cool as it would be to go all-motor with it, and i know i could do it for cheap, i can't justify doing it when i can sell the D15B swap and get into a B16 for about the same price, throw some ITR cams and bolt ons at it and make WAY more torque. If i do the $2008 challenge, i'll probably go the B16 route. not to mention there's no really decent transmission out there with short enough ratios for the d-series. the Teg's just too heavy for the D-series and makes it weight known. I'll probably stick with it while i'm building the B16 though just for kicks.

just for refrence, why i'll never go LS and why i'll never buy a car from someone who doesn't know what they're doing. this happened within 15miles of a new timing belt.

i'm fairly certain that it did. the previous owner was a previous typical honda ricer that was blown away when i put "a V-TeK" in it. :hithead:

going back on the b16/d15b thing.... honestly, if i find a cheap enough cam, valvetrain, IM, TB, and tuning, i'll stick with the D, because at that point, it's cheaper and puts out about the same power. not to mention i don't have to worry about swapping in another motor, etc. it'll be alot easier to make my hp/tq goals for the price, too.
