I guess it makes sense to take a practice test to make sure you don't get stuck re doing shit you already know. However, a placement test is just that. It places you where you need to be...It's not like it's an sat.

Yeah but I'm just rusty at most of the things. I was almost in honors math in high school and was average in reading and writing. I know if I practice enough it will get some of the gears moving again. Not trying to waste my time.

Where are you enrolling?
See if they have any study guides, but as the previous person said, it is a placement test to see where you are now, not where you were before.

I understand that, but 6 months of your life to get a good refreshing of the material doesn't hurt either. You can also always retest out of classes. Look up what they look for in the reading and writing portion. There are ques with writing that the computer looks for when it grades. Same with reading. Gl man!

Going most likely to PC for dental hygiene. I'll call to see if they know any places as well

khanacademy is definitely a good place to freshen up and learn more things. A lot of the basics are there.

Awesome. Will be studying on reading, writing and math for about a week before the placement test.

I remember buying a few online programs at PC for 30$ or less. Ask the testing center faculty about it. It helped but i never went back to do a retake test lol

Went to the school and didn't have to retake math. Just have to do reading and writing
