No don't do it.

Just buy a da Integra, don't do Integras wrong like that come on man!:p

The biggest wheel/tire combo you can do properly on a da is 205/40/17 with a front & rear camber kit.

Big thumbs up for the photos. My brother is going to go for it. Widebody hatch with DA front. Im trying to talk him into an AWD set-up and fat rims all the way around. Prolly 19 inch rims though for the low GT look. Does the stock rad support work? What else will I need?

no you have to change it for a da radiator support. and i know how to do an AWD conversion on a hatch! but its pretty pricey!

A JDM b20b with CR-v tranny is under 1000$ Or why not an H series mated to a D series tranny from a EF Civic Wagon? What would you recomend? This is my brothers HB and he insisted on a wide body and 305 30 19 tires all around. We're starting with a B16 hatch with mild body damage and rust. Soo far we have DA fenders and one light. A WW CRX front bumper and were gonna order the widebody rear fenders. THanks again for the help, fast hatch.

yes it does work its an h2d swap just like an h2b swap it gets rid of the whole cutting your car for a shifter cable

dang, i didnt know that. it just seems that the tranny and motor are too different but thanks for the correction

no problem man it is really quite cool its an adapter flywheel and plate and it lets you bolt on a d series tranny to h or f series. even though it costs a 1500 it saves u just as much money if you dont know how to swap an h. you use all the stock mounts except for the ones provided in the kit.

but how well do you think a stock D trans is gonna hold up to he power of an H22?? imo i would be worth just swappin in the hole H. or if your gonna go awd then just build a D and boost it.

well i no some dseries pushing 260 whp turbod and 185 lbs with a stock tranny so it could work. an h2b swap is more common though

well yeah i guess. good point lol. but thats also if they plan on keepin the H stock as well. if si the why not just boost a D instead of spendin the cas and work to put the H in the car and mating it to the D trans. like what you aid earlier, the kit cost 1500 bux. i dont know about you but i could build a pretty wicked sohc ready for boost for 1500. and that 1500 doesnt get you a pwerplant. just a kit to bolt one in! not sayin that the H2D swap woulndt be pretty sweet but i think it is kinda a wast of money!! thats just my .02

and also if you were gonna do AWD you have to cage the car and put fuel cell in it. and you have to redo the exhaust to make room for the drive shaft and you have to tie in the cage to mount the rear differential cuz there is no mounting points on the car for it. but the cool thing is you can get the rear trailing arms from the AWD civic wagon and they bolt right on to the hatch and give you rear disk in the process!

Well my bro's hatch was wrecked and its unfixable cause the damage goes all the way to the roof. Soo its back to the drawing board. Still on the top of my head thou any one wanna donate a hatch shell? Im really feeling the widebody and Da conversion and CRV AWD system. LMK, ICH & Bro........... Yeah deffinatley planning a cage, the H series is gonna be too much. Soo Im thinking the CRV may be the easiest way to go. Exhaust wont realy matter if I add a turbo anyway....... thanks for the trailing arm tip though might be just the trick.

the crv AWD would be sweet but the CRV rear diff wont hold up to alot of power and its not full time awd. it goes off of front and rear wheel speed. if the front wheels are spinning faster than the rear then the rear diff will engage. its not electronic tho. it works off of hydrolic pumps and a clutch. but that clutch in the rear diff will not hold up to alot of power. if you had someone make you a custom pinion shaft then it would be perfect!!!

its been proven that the CRV rear diff setup will only hold about 200hp. Not very strong IMO. Still would be cool to do the AWD thing.

but thats only because of the clutch setup in it. if you have a couple special parts made then i think it would hold to 350-400 hp. that just my .02
