my speedo is crazy

i was driving home last night and spun first and second for a friend and after that my speedo was going crazy... it would make a spinnign sound from the cluster and when i was around 45-50 MPH it would jump to around 70-80 whats this mean ?!?!?

cant be your dizzy cuz it has nada to do with your speedo, the sensor for speed is in your tranny

If your tach is jumping all over the place, it's probably the ignitor.

If the speedo is jumping all over the place it's the VSS in your tranny. If it's a cable tranny with a mechanical cable to the speed sensor then that could be going bad or not pushed in all the way, etc.

I've got a both cable and electronic speed sensors if you need one. $25 OBO

ALRIGHT so i fixed the problem ....... put my old cluster back in and works good
