View Full Version : i wanna build a motor?

so i would like to build a motor... not necesarily a honda motor. but where could i find a book about building motors? something that would have everything from plastigauge for new bearings to valve clearances. i built a motor before but i was a novice and it didnt turn out to well.

Bookman's, Barnes and Noble. If you want one for the specific motor you're building, go to a shop that deals with them. For ex, if you end up building, say, a small block ford/chevy, go down to Loper's and they've got books on how to do complete builds for everything from a mild street build to 400+c.i. sb's, and everything in between...
