I broke one my Hasport motor mounts in my crx. It is a B20vtec swap into an 89 crx. Here are the results:

Now, I'm going to ask a very stupid question and I want as many honest responses as possible on this. I can't say why just yet, but here is the question...
Are there supposed to be nuts on the ends of the two bolts in the pictures shown above? As in, when the motor is mounted to the chassis, are there supposed to be nuts that hold the mounts securely to the motor? Once again, I know this is a stupid question but I need an honest response.

Yes. I talked to the people at Hasport yesterday and I am taking it down there tomorrow. Any input on my question?

Of the two bolts in the pictures, are there normally nuts that are used to secure the mount to the motor? I'm not worried about the bolts.

I see. So there aren't any nuts that would attach to the other end of the bolts. They just go through the mounts and hangout there?

well i guess not, there would only be one end to tighten nuts down to and that would be the end sticking out of the chassis/mount. but ya dude, just get some regular hex bolts.

Hasport said to use regular socketed bolts so I was just checking.

They are old Hasport Mounts. These are what they looked like in 2002 or so if I remember correctly. I took the broken one to Hasport about six months ago and they replaced it for free.

I have no idea on that one. I just took it down there exactly as it is in the pictures. They looked at it for a minute; realized it was pretty old and found one in the back and gave it to me. They even said that if I ever have the motor out that I should bring in the other mounts and they will replace the urethane in them for free so they are all black instead of red urethane.

For the record, everything is squared away on this and the new one works great. The reason there isn't a logo or anything on the old one is that I polished them all before they were installed the first time around. This was before Hasport offered a polished version of them so it was a little DIY project.
