If you got vouches for the car you wouldn't need to test drive it right?

No, you still need to test drive it lol. Best to fly out there, see how it goes, then ship it back if it checks out.

Even if 50 people test drove it and said it drives great, no mechanical problems, super clean interior.

jk.

Just fly out there and test drive it. If you like it, drive it home. Don't forget to carfax it too.

Exactly. Or fly out there, if everything is all good, drive it back. :blunt:

I had tons of vouches for the teg I bought, but it ended up dynoing, then loosing compression because there was highpoints in the cylinders due to running lean. Had to rebuild the already built bottom end. Not fun for my pocket (well if you know the story being the "my pocket" part, it ain't bad.)

if you test drive it all the way out there make sure it comes back with you so nothing is different or missing

people are still people. . .

i bought the rex on honda tech.

i flew out there, and my mom said to fly back if it was no good.

500$ is cheeper then having a busted ass ride.

if your looking for a reliable car .. i wouldnt buy a boosted car ... i would buy one then build it myself ..turbo cars are unpredictable sometimes ... depends on how the owner drove it and took care of it ... just my 2 cents .. lol

btw: you couldn't find a car further away from AZ, it dosnt get much further then Maine in the continental united states...

i would fly out, spock out everything and then ship it back by rail car, or drive it back. it does look really sweet, g/l...keep us updated on what you decide.

i purchased my DC of honda tech....well traded. i had a dohc zc crx and this kid really wanted it. he wanted to trade his 95 LS for it. at first i thought it was a scam and a little weary but he was dead serious. we both agreed on a place to meet and the half way point for both of us was el paso texas. that is a 10 drive from here. the whole time i was driving there i didnt think the guy would show. but he did and i got myself a DC. w00t!

the bad things were uncovered when i tried to smog the car. failed miserably. clogged cat, bad o2 sensor, foul plugs, torn axel boots, cracked exhaust manifold. so just be careful.

just dont buy anything youre not willing to drive or fly to look at. i would NEVER buy any car that was driven in the snow. rusted bolts for the fucking LOSS.
