Hey I am changing my shoes and rotors out this weekend on my 00 EK 2dr.
I got them at Autozone, can't afford the good stuff. $50 for shoes and rotors, any recommendations, suggestions, tips.
No smart ass remarks please:hithead: :idiot: :dumbass: :pissed:

Yeah it was easy, one of the calipers was a little loose, and took some adjusting, but it was smooth. I painted my calipers with red caliper paint, but let it dry in my garage overnight and with the door closed, it didn't dry good. So when I was installing the rotors and calipers some of it rubbed off, i was pissed. oh well still looks pretty tight

There is nothing wrong with using autozone parts, i have their rotors on my car and they are just as good as brembo.

Now I just need a set for the rear, my 00 EK has drums on the rear - I hear everyone is going to the 5 lug coversion though, so I might as well just convert all 4 to 5 lug disc.
I'll be shopping soon, unless someone can convince me that switching to 5 lug is just for braggin vs performance.
