well here are some facts:

your running rich( your combustion temperature is cool and thats why your nox is ok

if you decrease HC and CO( or increasing the combustion temp, LEAN), the Nox will increase ( this is the product of high combustion temperatures). and vice versa.

for some reason you are running VERY rich. could be the cause of a dead catalytic converter and other things

could also be a bad coolant temp sensor thats causing you to run rich. Engines are programed to run rich when the engine is cold. But then again it can be lots of things... theres a fuel treatment called GUARANTEED TO PASS EMISSIONS by cnc... lots of people say this actually works

replace the catalytic converter bro . and you will pass.

His cat is fine.

If you pass NOx that easily, your cat is working.

What's a d15bz1? You mean OBD-1 D15Z1 from 92-95 VX's? You're running a VX ECU so I assume you're OBD-1 converted. The EX IM is A LOT bigger than the VX IM. What header/exhaust do you have? Recently changed plugs/wires/cap/rotor/fuel filter/air filter? If not, change 'em.

changing the timing would help...adjusting the distributor etc.
retard the timing?

hu i wish i could help here. i have heard the same about the dizzy timing. but is it retard or advance. i have heard both. but i would go towards retard

ive heard
....one car was so "retarded" that it couldn't get off the rollers lol.
retarding did help the car pass emmisions but yeah no power. just play w/ the timing.
access to emission testers would be nice also......
