converting obd2a to an obd2b dist.

I have an 97 ek and my dizzy is an '00 dizzy. I noticed that there is one more wire on the obd2a connector. i cut my harness and installed an obd2b dizzy connector. and had a blue wire left. The car starts ok, the only thing is that my tach does not work anymore, and if i try to switch the ble wires the tach goes crazy. I basically just spliced all the same colors together.

any help would be apreciated, thnaks alot.

You try changing to the 96-98, 96-01 Integra, or an Si dizzy plug?

I know 99-00 civic (CX/DX/LX/EX) dizzies are smaller than 96-98 except for Si's.
