basically unless you are in one of the "cliques" on azht .. you are at risk of someone stealing your car. one of these "known" theives would never steal a car from one of the well known members on the forum. for one, they are all friends. and two, the parts would be harder to sell.

thats not true. many well known members get there cars jacked. it does not matter who you are. look at nike sb, he was on these boards till his car was stolen. it can happen to anyone.

I dont have a problem saying what I think.

I dont personally know who is stealing cars, I just think its bullshit that people on this forum DO know and don't give a fuck.

Its different when a total stranger steals your mom's Camry from the mall. But when a guy you know (and you know he steals cars) steals a honda from a member on this site....then you see it posted ( MY CAR GOT STOLEN !!!! , we see these threads all the time ) and you just sit back and watch........Fucked Up IMO.

Also, i am fortunate enough that my car rarely leaves my sight. Either i drive my DD instead of my honda .. or i drive my honda somewhere i can keep my eye on it ... ( NOT to work / mall / movies )....

I understand most people dont have that luxury, or most people dont have garages to park thier cars in because the majority of people on here are younger and live in Apartments or at home with the folks and dont get a garage spot.

Still sad to see someone on here all torn up because they just got fucked out of a car worth anywhere between 5k and 20k depending on the mods.

I have heard enough questionable things said by those on this forum in person. I thought someone was honest till they openly offered to "steal a car" just because I had run into a bad situation.

Stealing doesn't solve the problem it compounds it.

Theft of Hondas & Acuras is up since more people have noticed the satisfaction of owning one.

I'm glad I don't live in Arizona right now. I no longer worry everyday that my pride & joy might be stolen.

Not to mention that people make their cars theft targets by getting flashy wheels, carbon fibre hoods, etc. Nothing screams "steal me" like a slammed car with tinted windows and obvious modifications.

You can draw attention to your car in a negative way or positive way. Most people are foolish about it.

Also, why people love to list their mod lists on public websites is beyond me.
