Wierd problem

So i was driving back from payson yesterday @ 2500 rpms on 5th gear and out of nowhere all my gauges drop down as if the car turned off but the engine was still running with no power, like if i was running at 200 rpms it just wouldn't rev up no matter what gear.. so i pulled over shut it down started it back up and it was normal.

i was thinking since the elevation is so high out there and i was running at low rpms maybe the MAP sensor was acting up??

battery cables loose or corroded???

nope its the original acura battery actually and its still putting out 12.7 volts after the load test.

na it hasnt done it.. but i did get a code 1457 evap. emission control leak.. checked gas cap and its sealing good. so i'm guessing the purge valve?

Also check your evap containers and all the hoses leading to your intake manifold.

yea checked the hoses too.. there all in good shape and conected, anyone else have this problem?

Hmmmm have you ever meesed with your ECU? Conversion Harness? VAFC? Swapped it out? This happened to one of my friends before come to find out it was a loose wire on his OBD II to OBDI conversion harness.

nope completely stock.. it must have been just a temp. problem. Hasn't done it since.
