if i built up an LS/VTEC, using type R internals (which includes a crank/rods/pistons that were designed for a previous LS/VTEC that had a B18C1 head) but using a B16 head that has GSR cams in it... would my compression be off that much?

The general purpose of an LS/VTEC motor is to gain extra displacement by using the longer stroke crank. If your purpose for the build is to just get vtec, then I suppose you could put the rest of the type R internals in there.

Compression ratio with LS Block INTEGRA Type R internals with a B16 head would be, 12.05:1

What worries me is your Piston to Deck clearance it is going to be .004" which is EXTREMELY close. I wouldn't be surprised if your pistons got REALLY friendly with your head.

safe to say your talking about a custom setup, no way for us to know
