View Full Version : Need help replacing steering wheel column

Ok the hatch i got which is an si has a busted up steering wheel column cuz it was stolen from the previous owner and i bought it from him, so i need the one on my cx hatch put on my si, any help is appreciated thx guys.

u can use the one of the cx ur best way is go to a junkyard or pay to get it done its really cheap i knoe a guy if u want the # hit me up

Thats really confused me lol u say i can use the one on my cx then u say my best bet is to go to a junk yard?

I don't know, lol.. but if you find someone who could help you, could you post pics of the process? I need to do this on my hatch too.

have you tried looking at how to on bolt the one from your car yet. whats the worst thing that is gonna happen. break it more?

lol!! X2. and they come out really easy.
just unplug the harnesses.
un-hook the U-joint on the shaft that goes to rack
and take the bolts out.
your done!!

make sure to get an EX/Si adjustable column.

lol!! X2. and they come out really easy.

and take the bolts out.
your done!!

Does it have to be that? i was hoping to use the one from my cx cuz of shortness on money, i dont care about the tilt shit either

it dont matter unless you want the tilt option :)
