I just learned how to make favicons in my web class and saw that the site didn.t have one. It.s that little picture that appears next to the URL and when you add a page to your favorites. Just thought it.d be cool to ask if you guys would like one.

you need to get a .ico file made (takes like 2min) and then someone with access to the server just has to upload it. I don.t know who runs the server or has contact with the company that does - 1 ponit 6 or one of the moderators??



Upload the favicon.ico file to the folder on your web site where you have the web page.

Add the following HTML tag to your web page after the <head> tag, before the </head> tag:

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" >

if you just add it to the main page it should come up on all pages. I.ll still ask my teacher next week and get back to you guys

I can make it or a thread for ideas can be posted. There are some very creative peolpe on this site. The only restrictions are that it has to be either 16x16 or 32x32 pixels which doesn.t give a lot of room for something complicated. That.s why I suggested the "H" logo

A few i came up with- keep in mind that they will probably need to be the size of #2 but I made them larger so you could still see them

Number one would get us sued. When and If we do it.. we will probably choose something that we feel represents the website. We have our own internal designer.

That.s cool- wasn.t trying to undermine anyone. Just a suggestion.

Who.s the graphic designer on here. :hi: I.m going to school for that so I try to get involved with as many projects as I can. Just trying to help out.
