Saw a new lancer on the road last week, I took one look at the rear end and my nuts imeadiatley retreated back up into my body and refused to drop, luckily I was able to coax them back out again by going to Aston Martin Dealership afterwards, but it was a close call.

That car looks like ass, sorry, the older ones really do look better, and thats not saying much because I always thought they where ugly as well. Lexus is the only one who can pull off those tailights and make it look sexy.

Man, I agree, it looks like a Mazda 6. Flat out, it does. They are trying to appeal to 'the genral market' and they lost the whole 'rally inspired' stand out looks that gained it success and respect. Nothing about that car would make me do a double take. THE 06-07 Subys for the win! At least those and the old Evos had rally style!

This is at least a step up vs. the old lancers, but this Evo vs. old, old EVO FTW. Oh well.

The front looks like a more agressive version of the new audi's.

The back just screams mazda with those taillights.

And what the fuck it up with the hood? That little scoop is so uncessesary. I liked the evo hoods with the 2 big opening on the top. I also liked how they didn't just look like a regular lancer with a body kit. It really looks like they didn't even try and design it. They took a page out of the mazda speed book and slapped a body kit on. Sooooooo gay.

I would have to agree that the older body style is much nicer but the new evo will do the same thing, I work for a mitsu dealer and see all the honda guys coming out to see the evo's and tryin to buy them even though they will all say its not true but they all wish they had one, will see how this one does.........

i'd drive it cause its an evo...but i like the older body itself...it maybe ugly but i bet it still has the same power as the older one....i know the lower models like the es had a bigger motor now then ever....

new es has 150hp and my 06 has 125 modded a bit so ill take the motor and drop it in my shit instead of rolling this body style but its ok and they could have atleast left the evo in the older body style and just change the base models
