code 43

what does a code 43 mean exactly? i know its something with the fuel system, but anyone have a more specific idea? just came on while i was driving in second gear holding about 4k rpm. shut the car off and the cel went away.

Basically, it's one of three things: bad O2; O2 grounding out somewhere; bad ECU.

Since you shut it off and it went away, I'll guess and say door #2.

that would make sense because i was getting an o2 code, primary o2, before. but thats not like injectors or anything?

Nope. For some reason, the Fuel Supply System code doesn't have anything to do with fuel directly.
