i think i need a valve job on my lancer already....i read up on it and its nothing really big cause they said it could be a injector or a lifter....i guess its a normal deal for DSM/Mitsu motors....i just wanna have a good place check this out for a reasonal price....

thanks all

Element did mine for like $120. Just 2 hours of work. I am sure TSP ar any place in town can do it in a few hours. Maybe someone on here can do it for less as well.

$120 isn't bad at all.

if you can find a price cheaper than $100 i wouldn't take it...valve adjustments aren't something you want to cheap out on

Valve adjustment or job? Curious. Valve job requires removing the head. We do valve adjustments on sohc and B series for $85 {This Month} if interested!

yea cause using a feeler gauge is so hard.

man do it yourself.

spend the 10 bucks on a feeler and than learn how to do it.

not hard i promise.

$85 is neither cheap or expensive in my opinion for a valve adjustment.

an experienced person using a feeler gauge can do this in less than 30 mintues.

but i sure as hell wouldnt do it if you are not positive you got it right.

take it to TSP they will hook it up.

i agree its not hard...but for someone who doesn't know how to do it they shouldn't go the "cheap route"

the first line was sarcasm... have to agree, do it yourself... jsut get specs, a feeler guage, and make sure the car is completely cold. Remove the valve cover and make sure the valves you are adjusting are completely closed... and dont forget to rotate the crank (by hand) when doing the next cylinder.

FYI - SOHC's/DOHC's don't have lifters.

Valve Lash adjustment... Ravi did mine for less than anyone has mentioned so far.Yeah, mine was done for less than anyone has posted except splashy. Runs great!

DSM motors are a bit different though, but like people have said cheap, good and valve job should not be used in the same sentence.
