did you swap your old school Hatch? *assuming you have a hatch due to our sig*

if so, did you retain all factory radius bars? front to rear crossmember link?

If you did, than most likely your Radius/ traction bars: bushings are toast.

this is granted that you have excesive wheel hop. and not normal hop. Excesive wheel hop will be of far more magnatude and will not stop during a launch until tires discontinue spin. your vehicle will also take a lot longer to get off the line.

EDIT: nvm. I just saw your Avatar. you got a new Civic and its doing this?

yep i hace a 06 si. the main thing that im concerned about i when im at the track. theres been times when i launched and the wheel hop was so bad that my CEL started blinking. is there anything that will help this?

most likely cause of Check Engine Light blinking is due to an erratic CKP sensor signal voltage when your vehicle is shaking like a mofo under hard wheel hop.

I say you perform a simple undercar visual inspection. most times, people do not realize that the culprit of their concern is right in front of their face. Jack your car up and look for any obvious signs of wear, such as fu*ked up bushings, bent components and what not. If you have a brand new Civic and if this concern is not common to other same year Civics, then you can pretty much guess that somthing is wrong.

did you upgrade/ change any suspension components and or wheel/ tire from Original Equip?

Get a torque Damper bro, I used to HAVE MAD wheel hop and I thru in my TD and it basically cured all of it, paired with my BFG's I have virtually now wheel hop. I alotta RSX owner have this prob, I think it may have something to do with the K motor and stock mounts
