97 teg problems starting

When i turn the key it clicks but does not start iv gotta repeat anywhere from 2-10 times until it starts up. I took the starter out and had it tested, it passed, i got the battery tested and its fine too.. Im running out of ideas here, anyone?

battery terminals clean, all your grounds alright? i actually had the same problem a few weeks ago with my 96 teg, i just wiggled around my battery stuff and it's worked fine ever since. stupid little things like that

Ive had the same problems on my 95 teg....but it only does it sumtimes and thats about it. I just wiggle the battery and cables around the starter. I thought i was the only one having this problem

it could be the starter solenoid honestly. they have a tendency to work on the starter bench but not on the car.

Check the relay as well :)

my starter does the same shit on my crx, its the starter replace it or live with it.

well come to find out guys that it was my cap n rotor. The same day i posted i was coming home n my car just died. So thinking it was sumthing little i keep on starting it and nuttn happened. Come to find out i jacked up my cap n rotor plus tore 25 teeth on my timing belt. Now thanks to my homie QuicktypeR its all fixed. I owe him big time
