Just got out of the hospital after two days of blood work, a 16 gauge IV, morphine, cat scans, a blister the size of a quarter and a bunch of other fun stuff from getting electrocuted while working on my car. I guess that will teach me to work on the car with my wedding ring on.

PS. When we bought the rings, they told me that ring was "indestructible". I think I proved them wrong. I wonder if they will give me a new one for free.

At least your finger didn't get sleeved. That happened to some guy I worked with, he dropped something and went to catch it but missed and his ring caught it and ripped it down-wards. All you seen was bones and a huge chunk of flesh at the top of his finger.

My whole hand was a blister after grabbing a beer bottle off the ground that just rolled out of a fire. Literally all 4 fingers and my thumb were blisters.

I never popped them (despite what my friends said to do) and my hand is just fine now.

Yeah, I'm alive and well. The blister popped and it was disgusting but its healing fairly well. My heart has started beating like normal again and I'm not light headed anymore. I figure that by this time next week I'll be back to working on the car again.

Yeah, there is a hole on each side of the ring...the entrance and exit points. I'm going to take the ring in this weekend and see what they say. It should be interesting.

Went to urgent care today and they cut 1/8" deep into my finger and about 1/4" wide to remove infected skin. they cut that half way around my finger. I can't even explain the pain. percicet, here i come...

I never took them until i broke my arm, and I was hooked in like 6 days....couldn't sleep, cold sweats. It kills your appetite too, I lost 60 pounds in the 4 months it took to rehab my arm from all the pain killers. good luck bro.

That is intense! I should only be on those and the antibiotics for another week or so.
I hate taking them but the pain is horrible if I don't. I think maybe next time I have to take one I will start playing Minor Threat or Earth Crisis to make up for it :)
