when changing the brake pads.

its the two bolts in the back right? im taking it off so i can change my brake pads. but the two bolts wont budge for sh*t. is there any special tools i would need besides my basic wrenches? its starting to irritate me. o yeah its a 98 honda civic hatch. thanks.

Should just take off the two 14mm (i think) bolts off the back of the caliper attaching it to the bracket.

Some penetrating oil may help.

notice there are 2 pieces of the brake caliper
remove the bottom bolt 14mm and loosen the top one slightly
swing up the caliper remove the old pads
remove brake res. cover
compress the piston
install in reverse order

thanks! i got it done.. simple job too. i just had to add some extra elbow grease into the mix.
