i cant type in anything. when i start up the phone, it goes straight to "enter restriction code" screen. i tried to type in that code and the *#06# and it said code error.

it will help. The ribbon from the VHS tape will erase all memory but the spatula trick works as well because of the large surface. Go grab one and tell me when you have it
