My brother did a b16 swap into his eg an was wondering what half shafts to use? his friend hooked him up with some from a del slow si but are these the right ones??? He's got another issue he's trying to figure out which would be how to wire up the distributor from the 2000 usdm b16 to the eg if any one can help thanx in advanced.

If I remember correctly the Del Sol Si came with a D16Z6 motor. D-series axles will not work. Unless you mean to say that those axles came from a Del Sol VTEC. Then you have a fleeting chance.

That's what I thought but it looks like he got two driver side shafts which obvisously won't work but thanx.

i think any teg half shafts would work

and to wire up the distributor you would have to have a obd 2 wiring harness cuz the obd 1 distributor and obd 2 have completly different plugs

if your harness is obd 1 and everything is plugged in, then use an obd1 distributor which uses 2 plugs..

how many distributor plugs are there in the engine harness ? 1? 2?

Use any B series half shaft and just get an axle for that car that half shaft came out of... If the Del Slow half shaft was the DOHC Vtec half shaft use that and just get axle for a 95 Del Slow DOHC or 99-00 Civic Si

the distributor is a 4 plug an my brother allready cut up the 00 civic harness allready i think an has pretty much everything else wired up but the distributor. His main thing is if thers another point in the wiring that it connects to before the ecu or does it go directly to the ecu. but thanks for all the help so far an it seems that they gave him to right side shafts.

Any b-series axles will work. Integra, 99-00 Si, or Del Sol VTEC.

U Can Go Ahead And Use The B-16 Half Shaft Well If Its A 99-2000 Si B-16. And About The Dizzy What I Did Was Use The Skeleton Of The Single Cam And Just Used The Internals Of The B16
