ignition control module could be bad. swap the distributor and if that doesnt work, swap the ECU and if that doesnt work, you got wiring problems.

If you take to 2p connector from the dizzy and check voltage from the black/yellow wire you should have 12vlts, and if you check at the ECU pin's A21 and A26 you should have about 10vlts, if NOT replace the ICM or theres a wiring issue, If YES being voltage at the ecu, then there's somthing wrong in the ECU and the ICM is ok..............

Funny, because I am having the same problem with my coupe bro but now I'm in San Diego and won't be back til mid August to try and solve my problem....I changed out my alternator, dizzy, and spark plugs and still no luck....it even had fresh 91 octane in it.

Did you take the distributor cap off? Did you loose the spring that connects to the coil? It is the spring that connects the coil to the distributor cap.
