View Full Version : Can i hook a vtec controler up with a chipped ecu?

I have a chipped p28 ecu, and i just got a vtec controller, just seeing if it would mess anything up if i hooked it up? my chip has cel shift light and two step, if its ok can i get a diagram on how to wire it? its in an eg hatch with b series thx.

just look the make/model of the controller up on the manufactures website, it will have instructions for installation. it will not interfere however i hate those damn things.

Lol ya i never cared for them but i got it in a trade and its got some scratches so i dont know a good price to sell it for so thought i'd hook it up.

i have this also but i dont trust the manuals. its tells me to hook up the rpm wire to the ignition input..

so why dont you guys like them? I was thinking about getting one in the future, i've heard they are alot of help
