question about using a spray gun ???

i hope i am posting this in the right spot, considering i dont see a forum for spray painting. i have a nice size air compressor and i also have a semi-decent spray gun. i havent used a spray gun in almost 9yrs and i was wondering if any1 on here has any recent experience using one?? what types of materials do i need? type of paint? paint thinner? if any1 knows post away!!! any and all comments are welcomed.

materials are all going to depend on the job. i just go to space age and get the paint color i want and buy the western brand clear/thinner/hardner. if you go to space age and tell them what you are doing the will walk you through everything you need for your budget.
