Ok my buddy says that a B16 head swap on my 98 GSR would be better because it flows better and some other things but im not too sure so I would like some opinions and if possible some explanations on your opinions..... should I stick with the GSR head and go with a type R manifold OR should I put a B16 head on it?

the B16 head WILL get better flow... as for power? idk, it might if you put some CTR cams in it or something, but other than that, not really

honestly bro keep the gsr head put some ctr cams and get an aftermarket manifold... youll be alrite:tits: :tits: :tits:

yea, do Skunk 2 Pro Series intake manifold, and hell, id even run ITR cams, idk tho, its all about wut you want to do

if im not mistaken ctr cams exhaust cams are identical , but the ctr intake cam has 3 degrees higher lift than an itr... dats why i got ctrs instead... man the difference is night n day even with the stupid gsr manifold

really? wish i could afford anything lol, im tryin to run LS/V soon as possible, my homie has some ITR pisons and shit i can use, but i dont have any money to buy em

but yea, ill be out within the next couple of weeks, my car's rear alignment is fucked

stick with a gsr head go with ctr cams an keep the gsr in mani dunno why alot of u don't like it I think the gsr in mani is great

I had a 99 gsr motor with ctr cams no other mods but the cams an put down 200 on the dyno

well just to keep it honest it was 198. something but pretty much 200

I know about my car but i just don't know how interchangeable parts work ya know? but ya my plan was to boost after I bore so pistons and cams were going anyways. But I think I made my decision not to roll with the B16 head.... I really REally REALLY appreciate your replies.

if your going to boost i would change to the B16 head. will lower compression a lil and will flow better IMO.
