I usually use pistol, then pistol/revolver, then auto/pistol, then auto/shotgun, then auto/rifle until the end.

That was pretty fun but it kept me up to late, I gotta get up and work tomorrow. But I did beat the game first try, and once I got the hunting rifle I used that the whole game and nothing else, its my fav. It takes out 2 zombies in one shot.

Never tried getting weapons from zombies. But if you the ak47 is not the last weapon you get, there is not a spot for it and it is tuff to get, but if you keep putting in hours towards weapons, like the last couple of days you'll get a .50 caliber rifle that destroys everything. Its awesome, and so easy with that gun.

you'll notice that the cops have revolvers, so if you don't have a revolver yet, and you do at least 1 hour of searching, you get the revolver.

same thing for the m4a1 that the army carries. But that's only if you're way behind in the gun searching game.
