street or track

But there is a difference between racing around on the street, and an organized, late night, light traffic, street race....

and obviously I LOVE going to the track

in all ohnesty i run better on the street, my time show i run a mid 15 without bottle and mid 14 on a small shot, but on the street i run high 14 second cars and can beat them out of the whole usually and hold them at bay, i street race but its a lot different to run into a few ricers or muscle cars that the kids cant drive or old guys think their the shit... so its different to roll up to someone and race em, than to go to the illegals and have a heavy traffic organized street race...

i always race the streets cuz the closet track for me is firebird and it's like a 3 1/2 hour drive so maybe next time i'll take it to the track.

the cops here are cool never got caught racing :thumbup:
1 time me and nativek where video tapeing his car doing some fly by's in my car and a cops was cruzin on the other side of the road and clock him in at 106mph in a 45mph pulled the car over and drive got tossed in jail and the car was impounded but the driver got out the next day on saturday and the car was bailed out after he paid a 50something dallor fee the same saturday the driver got out. talk about lucky and when shit like this happens here you get it on your record here but it will not so up anywhere else in az that cool.

for the STI, i like dirt.... find big dirt fields and just romp it... i've never tracked it but sometimes, yeah, some punk will tempt me and i'll run a street... i really try to be good and not do that though

I only ran at the track once (thats was when I broke my car a week ago) and it was a BLAST!
But at the same time I love to race. and I love beating people who don't see it coming (been happening alot lately). how ever I am as cautious as I can be when I do it, I only race when I'm in the car by myself. I don't want anyone elses to get hurt for me being stupid. and I don't judge people or call them pussies for not racing.

however I am gonna stop street racing now that I know SIR is open to the public every weekend. it just seems more convient

i like both. ofcourse the track is safer, but u cant race who u want everytime, and depending on how many people are there, u might not race very much. now street racing is unsafe, but i think thats part of the thrill.
