ok i broke my cv-shaft ony my ef hatch, but the thing is its a 5 lug and i dont know wat axles to get now. can someone help me out. thanks

if the shaft itself has broken then your going to have to get a new one but if it was the bearing carriage or where the shaft is welded to the bearing carriage then you can take it to an axel shop and they should be able to repair it. It's a hell of a lot cheaper to get it rebuilt then to get a new one. Had a bad cv and took it to an axel shop they rebuilt it for like $20 beats spendin $90 on a new one.

dont repair it. by your post it looks like you dont know what car to buy the axles from. cant help you there other than be an ass and say whatever it had on it. but if you have a dealer hookup they are too cheap not to replace. i used too get them for 45-60 depending on the car. and that was new not rebuilt.

sounds like you need a Type R integra axle. what trans are you using? hydro or cable?
