View Full Version : which header will work

so im wondering if any of you know if there is a header out there that will fit with my b series in a 90 crx with out modicifations to the cross member

someone told me rmf header, another told me vibrant header, and cutom header.. do you guys know any that will fit with enough clearence of the crossmember and tuck up by the oil pan ?!?

ive never heard of header clearance issues.

the dc 4-2-1 header it alright for clearance. as close as you will get anyway. my suggestion would be a b20 stock exhaust manifold. looks stock and has a 2.5 collector on it. if your into that anyway.

Chinky, almost any 4-1 will hit the stock crossmember unless you notch it.

idk how much that is but i remember that setup and that car it tight. was a built turbo d series right? now has a b20 boosted in it.

X2. any aftermarket headr will have clearance issues unless you have an aftermarket crossmember, notch it, or get crazy with a hammer!

i have a dc 4-2-1 in my crx. i don't have any problems with clearance. fits fine, doesnt hang down. and tucks in right where it should.

does anyone know if you can buy just those mount brackets that are on there. i have the crossmember, and the mount but not brackets. i was just gonna make some but if they are cheap then its not worth my time. oh and sorry not trying to jack your thread. just wondering!

im pretty sure you can. check the same website that sells the crossmember kit.
