sup guys,,
well at this time my car is getting worked on, i have a gsr with a 98 spec type r motor. i am getting new pistons and rods installed. including a mugen head gasket. with this setup i will be at 11.8:1 CR... anybody here running a similar setup? if so, can it still run on 91 octane with stock injectors? or would i have to increase the fuel pressure? any input would be appreciated

Have Joe locash tune it. He'll be able to tell you if it needs bigger injectors.

you dont need a fuel pump. ive seen 500+whp setups running the stock pump. its more of a precautionary thing.

yeah what he said ^
its not a bad idea to be over fueled than under fueled though

500+whp? stock pump? ive never known of a stock honda fuel pump to support enough fuel for the upper 300whp range, do u have any proof threads or anything? im just curious.:blunt:

for real man i think that a stock honda pump is only good till like 250 then u start to push it past the "safe zone" i would get one if u have the money its nice to have. and if u have a type r motor then u should have type r injectors which to my knowledge r a little bigger then stock b series injectors so i dont think it would be that. but if u want some and if ur going to stay n/a just get like some 350s and call it a day. if ur going turbo go like 850s and ull never have to buy another set of injectors and u can turn them down so yeah hope that helps but someone tell me if im right about the type r injectors being bigger i want to know for sure and not be giving bad info.

my stockie worked fine for about 260whp then we bumped up for another pump as the OEM was dropping pressure sporadically.
310cc injectors are nice for N/A setups :)
