got a 91 ef, my d15 was running fine and all of a sudden it died, checked the plugs and there was oil on top of plugs.i cleaned it up and brought new plugs it won't turn over can anybody help??PLEASE!!!!!!

take the valve cover off, check for anything fishy like dropped valves or anything, then go from there

also put a ratchet on the crank pully bolt and try to turn it both ways by hand. if it will go one way and not the other you prolly stuffed a rod into the block. or you could have siezed a piston, or like stated in the previous post a dropped valve!! it could be plenty of things!

well i checked and crank pulley goes both way, its now back firing from the intake damn these d15 motor sucks i want to shot it with a desert eagle

sounds like you might have jumped a tooth on the timing belt. i would check that next!

how do u check if its jumped a tooth? i think that may have been the problem with my old motor

just line up the timing mark on the crank then look at your cam(s) and see if all the marks line up!
