i was gonna get one. i think they are very good cars, motors are very strong. they can easily hit 400 hp with stock internals, but of course upgrade that turbo and fuel system. i say go for it. i regret not buying one when i had the chance

I just sold one I didn't like the thing it was the n/a version I felt it was slow for a v6 an the thing didn't handle very well i've heard alot of people having trans problems though the trans on my never gave me any problems the cluster on the other hand was wack fuel gage didn't work speedo read about 15 faster than car was actually going temp gauge always stayed in the middle even when car was cold tach didn't work correctly if u end up getting the car look over it a few times make sure it is in pretty good condition

I don't know whats up with all u saying these are quick my eg with a b16 smoked the 300z bad I had a friend drive the 300 while i was in my eg beat the 300 by 2 car lengths with a stock b16

I had a chance about a month ago to buy a twin turbo version for $2300 and all it needed was a clutch. All of my friends that own shops or work at dealerships told me to stay away because they are a pain in the ass to work on and parts are VERY expensive. My COST on the OEM replacement Clutch kit was over $500. This is why I backed away. They told me it was nothing but a MONEY PIT......but thats what I know.......Damn cool cars though

they r my first love but... they r a money pit, believe me i had 2 of them. i spent so much money on them it is not even funny. labor is expensive because no one wants to touch them and parts r expensive because the factory stopped making most of the oem replacement parts a couple years ago.

they look sexy as hell, i like them alot. The only reason i dont own one is because how much of a pain in the ass they are to work on. they also seem a lil expensive to modify too.

I would say do not buy a non turbo 300ZX. They are slow. All replacement parts @ Nissan are expensive. The 2+2 body style does not handle well.

I would only buy a 1992-1995 Twin Turbo. The 1996 lost 20 horsepower because Nissan had to eliminate variable valve timing to meet o.b.d. 2 regulations.

You will not find a 1992-1995 Twin Turbo for under $5,000, unless it needs significant repairs.:p

2+2 is the 4 seater.

I would say try to find a 90+ mr2 turbo

badass cars(the turbo ones) but you better plan to invest alot because parts is expensive and labor is expensive. just do the labor yourself, they are not as hard to work on as everyone makes them out to be.
